Camerata BRIMA proudly presents to you a duo concert of our ensemble members, Anton Bondarenko (Piano) and Mariia Piekhtierieva (Violoncello). These two award-winning young Ukrainian talents travelled from Germany to Belgium, to share with you a great selection of works including works by Ukrainian composers. An opportunity not to be missed! There will be a reception after the concert as well, you’ll have the chance to speak with the performers.

Furthermore, the venue Salon BRIMA is recently renovated to bring to you a more comfortable and enjoyable listening experience at a beautiful salon with grand pianos! Come and join us and experience first-hand the newest location for salon concert at Brussels!

About the performers:
Mariia Piekhtierieva
Born in Dnipro and began her education there. In 2020, she enrolled at the Dnipro Academy of Music and has since become a laureate of many All-Ukrainian competitions. She has participated in masterclasses with renowned cellists such as Denis Severin (Switzerland), Razvan Suma (Romania), Oleksiy Shadrin (Belgium), and Aziеr Polo (Switzerland). In 2022, she joined the main roster of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (YSoU) under the direction of Oksana Lyniv. As part of the orchestra, she performed in Austria, Germany, France, and Italy.

Anton Bondarenko
Born in Zaporizhzhia. Currently studying as a Gaststudent at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. He is a laureate of numerous international competitions and has repeatedly performed as a soloist with orchestras. He has given concerts in countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and Sweden. Actively participated in masterclasses by renowned pianists: Adrian Oetiker, Milana Cherniavska, Natalia Pasichnyk, Daniel Blumenthal, Tetiana Korsunska, Yannick van de Velde, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.
